Grain Commodity Futures Market Analysis

The grain futures markets went ahead and made the correction that I was anticipating although I was expecting it a week earlier. Now that they have made it, the grain markets appear poised for another upswing. Just keep your stops close in case the momentem falls through.

Chicago wheat futures appear to be holding at support and the indicators look good for a move up soon.

Corn futures actually moved back up on Friday. We should see some more upward movement soon.

Oat futures starting moving back up after correcting also, hopefully oats will break through the resistance they have been seeing.

Soybean futures are still going strong. I like soybeans price action, just keep a close stop because soybeans can be pretty volatile at times.

March Chicago wheat futures closed Friday at 578.2, down 51.2¢ for the week.

March corn futures closed Friday at 391.0, down 19.6¢ for the week.

March oat futures closed Friday at 222.4, down 7.6¢ for the week.

March soybean futures closed Friday at 10.200, down .160¢ for the week.
