Grain Commodity Futures Analysis

Yeah I missed last week, sorry about that, I’ve been pretty busy. That’s why I give so much free information to my readers to learn from because you can’t always depend on somebody else doing it for you. You can have someone hand you a fish and eat for a day or learn to fish for yourself and feed your family for a lifetime. The best way of trading in my opinion is to learn to do it yourself. Just make sure you learn from somebody who knows what they are doing.

But on to the markets.

It looks like wheat futures could test support but indicators are moving higher, which means that wheat should move higher soon. If wheat does test support, and not go lower, I would buy calls. If wheat breaks support, it could go lower.

Corn futures are making a wedge type of pattern and the indicators are suggesting that the break out will be to the upside. Always keep your stops placed.

Oat futures have been hard to predict for a while, but if you don’t have any calls on oats, now may be a good time to get them.

Soybean futures have hit resistance and the indicators are moving down so there could be a drop soon. The only thing worrying me is the price action of beans is strong right now. If you are long beans you probably should take profits and get back in after a drop, or if beans break up. A straddle may work also. Always keep your stops placed.

Rice futures seem to have held since the breakout so I would hold on to any long positions. Just keep your stops placed.

Remember that most grain futures contracts are changing front months. When that happens I just give the current prices.

July Chicago wheat futures closed Friday at 543.2, up 8.6¢ since last Friday.

July corn futures closed Friday at 385.6.

July oat futures closed Friday at 202,2.

July soybean futures closed Friday at 1034.0.

July rough rice futures closed Friday at 12.980.
