Grain Commodity Futures Trading And Technical Analysis

Grain Commodity Futures Monday Update

I didn’t make an earlier post because things didn’t change much for the grains last week, and I was sticking to my predictions from last week.

Wheat futures made a little jump up but the price action wasn’t very strong and they started down a little today. The indicators aren’t very sure right now so I would be careful if wheat started moving up more but I think it will move down some soon.

Corn futures still look like they could make a jump up, just keep your stops in place.

Oat futures look like they move up, or go somewhat sideways. It’s hard to say.

Soybean Futures have traded somewhat sideways, but appear they could make a jump up. Just keep your stops in place.

Rough rice futures moved down a little but they are near support so I would be careful of a move up.

I know it’s not a lot for this week but the indicators aren’t real clear and remember you don’t have to be in the market all the time. Sometimes it’s better to wait for a more sure trade.

Since Aug. soybean options have expired, I should have been reporting the Sept. soybean prices. I will now.

September Chicago wheat futures closed today at 637.4

September corn futures closed today at 323.4

September oat futures closed today at 257.4

September soybean futures closed today at 831.0

September rough rice futures closed today at 10.270
