Grain Commodity Futures Weekend Update
I finally got my new blog theme up and the website, too. I will try to keep improving on the website but it is functional now.
Most of the grain futures made a drop like I was talking about last week.
Wheat futures have been trading somewhat sideways but appear ready for a drop. Just keep your stops in place.
Corn futures followed with a drop. I expect them to drop more but the indicators are moving up so I would keep a close eye on corn.
Oat futures are hard to judge right now. They seem to have hit some resistance and the indicators are moving up, so I would expect a move up but if the other grains move down, oats could follow.
Soybean futures made a good move down, like I thought they would. They rebounded a little but I think they will move down again. Just keep a close stop.
Rough rice futures moved down and then right back up. Rice is hovering around support and the indicators are moving up, so we could see a move up in rice.
I know that my short term trading style may be hard for some people to keep up with. If you want to look at a longer term style of trading the futures markets, I would recommend looking at CRB’s program. The also have a service if you like to follow the commodity fundamentals and they offer a free trial to both services. You can check them out here:
