Wednesday Grain Commodity Futures Update
This is a Wednesday post, but it is after midnight here so it will be posted as a Thursday post.
I’m sorry I was late but I have been tied up.
This is only a short post anyway.
The indicators haven’t been too clear lately, and the futures markets have been a little rocky lately, so I would keep an eye on your positions, but I am currently holding steady on the predictions I made a week and a half ago on April 29th.
Everything except oats. Although oat futures dropped pretty good yesterday (on Tuesday), I think they may make a jump up. I would recommend covering any shorts before the end of the week. There should be another chance to short again soon.
If you decide to hold on to your shorts, then keep a close stop.
Corn futures did drop pretty hard at the first of the week, but haven’t broke support, I think it could go up, but I would watch it close to see if it drops lower.
July Chicago wheat closed today (Wednesday) at 482, down 12.6¢ from Friday.
July corn closed today at 366.2, down 24.4¢ from Friday.
July oats closed today at 255, down 13¢ from Friday.
July soybeans closed today at 747.4, even from Friday.
July rough rice closed today at 10.490, down .240¢ from Friday.
