The markets were closed yesterday for the national day of mourning for Gerald Ford, but the grains opened up with a bang today as they made a big drop,as I expected. I expect more of the same. Rice had a lot of volatility, but didn’t move much at the close. I’m not expecting it to, but I would watch rice close to see if it moves up above resistance.
March Chicago wheat closed today at 476.4, down 24.6¢

March corn closed today at 370.4, down 19.8¢

March oats closed today at 262.0, down 9¢

March soybeans closed today at 682.0, down 15.2¢
