Weekend Update
I assumed there would be some volatility in the market but by the indicators, it appears that the move up in the grains last week could just be a correction in the move down, but I would keep my stops very close. If the grains decide to continue the move up I would get out for now.
If you had your stops close and got stopped out, I would sit on the sidelines for now and wait for a definite signal or move in either direction. You don’t have to be in the market 100% of the time. We’ll see what happens after the holiday.
March Chicago wheat closed the week at 514.0
March corn closed the week at 384.0
March oats closed the week at 274.0
January soybeans closed the week at 659.4
January rough rice closed at 10.010
